The Beatles - LOVE
I recently bought a new(!) Beatles album, titled 'Love'. It's actually the soundtrack to a Beatles themed Cirque Du Soleil show in Vegas. The best part is that it's all original Beatles material, no bad covers. Even better (than the best part?), George Martin and his son took the master recordings and made their own remixes, or mash-ups, and most of the tracks now have layers upon layers of various Beatles songs blended together to great effect.
Strange, I was just thinking to myself recently how I don't listen to The Beatles that much anymore. But it always seems that every five years or so, they find their way back into my life.
If you haven't picked 'Love' up yet, run like a fool to the store and pick it up! And do yourself an even bigger favor, and pick up the deluxe version, which includes the CD as well as, get this, an audio DVD with The Beatles in DTS 5.1 Surround!!! It may change your life!
